Privacy Policy
I❤️AI voyagr is a personal travel map that lets you plot the places you've been on an interactive globe and keep the record safely in your own Google Drive. This policy explains what information I❤️AI voyagr accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have — with particular attention to data obtained through Google APIs.
Information we collect
I❤️AI voyagr is designed to collect as little as possible. We only handle the information needed to sign you in and to save and display your travels.
Google account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details from your Google Account through the openid, email, and profile scopes: your name, email address, and profile picture. This is used to identify your session and to show who is signed in.
Content you create
The travel information you enter — home bases, trips, individual stops, dates, ratings, categories, notes, and links to photos — is content you create within the app. I❤️AI voyagr stores this so your map persists between visits.
Google Drive files
I❤️AI voyagr saves your travel data as a single file inside a private application-data folder in your own Google Drive, using the drive.appdata scope. This scope lets I❤️AI voyagr read and write only that one hidden file it creates for you; it does not grant access to any other files in your Google Drive, and the file does not appear among your normal Google Drive files. The data moves directly between your browser and your Google Drive — it never passes through, and is never stored on, any server operated by I❤️AI voyagr.
Local device storage
Your preferences (such as display settings) are kept in your browser's local storage. In addition, whenever a save to Google Drive cannot complete — for example, if the connection drops — I❤️AI voyagr writes a temporary backup copy of your travel data to local storage so your work is not lost. As soon as the connection is restored and the data is successfully written to your Google Drive's application folder, that local backup is permanently deleted. A backup therefore exists only while a change is waiting to reach your Google Drive.
Using a shared or public computer
Because this backup is written to the browser you sign in from, your travel data can remain on that device after you leave. On a shared, public, or borrowed computer, sign out when you are done and clear the browser's site data for I❤️AI voyagr — or use a private/incognito window — so the next person cannot see your information.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not access files in your Google Drive other than those created by I❤️AI voyagr.
- We do not collect your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above solely to operate the app for you:
- Authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session.
- Display your identity — your name, email, and avatar — within the app interface.
- Save and load your travel map to and from your Google Drive.
- Restore your work from a local backup if a save to Google Drive cannot complete, deleting that backup once the data reaches your Google Drive.
- Render your photos from the Google Drive links you provide for a trip.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not apply automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Google user data & Limited Use
I❤️AI voyagr's access to Google user data is governed by the permissions you grant on Google's consent screen, and our use of that data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Limited Use disclosure
I❤️AI voyagr's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
I❤️AI voyagr has no access to your travel data. It is created on your device and stored in your own Google Drive's application folder; it is never sent to, copied to, or held on any server we operate. We cannot view it, export it, save a copy of it, or produce it — to ourselves, to third parties, or in response to any legal request — because we simply do not have it. Only you can view your travel data, and only through this app while signed in to your own account.
The account information Google returns to us (your name, email, and profile picture) is used only within the app in your browser to show who is signed in; we do not use any Google user data for advertising or marketing, do not sell or transfer it, and use it solely to provide I❤️AI voyagr's features.
The Google scopes I❤️AI voyagr may request are:
- openid · email · profile — to sign you in and show your account identity.
- drive.appdata — to create, read, and update the single travel-data file I❤️AI voyagr keeps in a private application-data folder in your Google Drive. This scope does not grant access to any of your other Google Drive files.
Where your data is stored
Your travel map lives in your Google Drive, under your Google Account — not on servers operated by I❤️AI voyagr. Because I❤️AI voyagr is a client-side application, your data moves directly between your browser and Google's services.
- Google Drive holds the authoritative copy of your travel data. Its storage and security are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Your browser's local storage holds a backup copy and your display preferences on your own device.
I❤️AI voyagr does not operate a separate database that stores the contents of your travel map.
Retention & deletion
Because your travel data is stored in your own Google Drive and your own browser, you remain in control of retention:
- Delete individual items — homes, trips, or stops — at any time within the app; the change is saved back to your Google Drive.
- Remove the hidden app-data file — I❤️AI voyagr stores your travel data in a private application-data folder that does not appear among your normal Google Drive files. You can delete it from Google Drive settings → Manage apps → I❤️AI voyagr → Delete hidden app data, or by revoking I❤️AI voyagr's access (below).
- Clear local backups by clearing your browser's site data for I❤️AI voyagr.
- Revoke access to your Google Account at any time (see below), which stops I❤️AI voyagr from reading or writing any further data.
I❤️AI voyagr does not retain copies of your travel content after you delete it from these locations.
Your rights & choices
You can access, correct, or delete your travel data at any time using the app and your Google Drive. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
Revoking access
You can disconnect I❤️AI voyagr from your Google Account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page and removing I❤️AI voyagr. This immediately revokes the app's ability to access your profile and Google Drive files. Your data already stored in your Google Drive remains yours.

Security
I❤️AI voyagr communicates with Google over encrypted HTTPS connections and relies on Google's OAuth 2.0 for authentication, so your credentials are never handled by the app. Access tokens are held only for the duration needed to talk to Google's APIs and are refreshed silently as needed. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
I❤️AI voyagr is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, the law, or our practices. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice within the app. Your continued use of I❤️AI voyagr after an update means you accept the revised policy.
